Hi Reader,
It’s been a busy start to the year.
And somehow, we’re already at the beginning of April.
I feel like I’m just now emerging from my den.
Not the cozy kind of hibernation. The kind where you disappear for a bit because something is forming, and you can’t quite explain it yet, but you know you need to follow it.
That’s what this has been.
I’ve been building something I actually believe in.
It didn’t start as a big idea. It started as a small insight that kept showing up. And once I saw it, I couldn’t unsee it.
You know that feeling, when suddenly you notice something everywhere?
A car you’re thinking about buying. A style you didn’t realize you liked. A pattern that just keeps repeating.
That’s what this was like.
And if I’m honest, I had fallen into it too, without really realizing it.
So many conversations around thought leadership, brand building, growth, they all start to sound the same after a while. And almost all of them begin from the same place: marketing first.
What do I say?
How do I position it?
How do I grow this?
And it works. At least for a while.
But there’s a quiet disconnect underneath it that’s harder to name.
That’s the part I couldn’t ignore anymore.
So instead of trying to refine it, I stepped back and started building from a different place.
Not hiding. Not withdrawing.
Just closer to what actually feels true.
Because if we’re being honest, that’s what’s missing in a lot of what we see right now.
Not more strategy. Not more tactics.
Truth.
Our truth.
That’s what this new space is rooted in.
What's next?
I started writing and recording more of this over on Substack. It’s called Powerhouse Signal.
It’s not meant to be something to keep up with.
It’s more of a place to sit with ideas that don’t always fit neatly into content.
The first episode is live now.
It’s a bit more raw than I expected it to be.
And it starts with something I misunderstood for a long time.
I thought I was disciplined.
I wasn’t.

If you decide to come over, I think you’ll feel what I’m trying to build there.
